It appears the German version has some free downloads but you need an account to get them, not sure what they are as I don't speak any German.

Mr H,

Iwas aware of it although I thought this to be the Leslie solution from that developer in Germany as he went in non-disclosure mode. Looking at the picture it seems to have a link with the design from Poland. Myself, I'm still getting my design boxed in although I do recognize this as a potential better (read much more expensive ) solution. I'm also wondering about soldering the SMT device. In the design I'm using, the FV-1 daughterboard I'm avoiding this hurdle. Anyway I'm also very curious. It's great to see this type of ever expanding exposure to the FV-1 device here in Europe!

How its made

I have now read the article this is how its done:

Hardware with two pcbs:

main pcb:
-FV-1
-24LC32
-Dry-wet mix using digital pot
-ATmega8
-MIDI-in

controller pcb (user interface):
-ATtiny2313
-LCD
-rotary encoder
-3 switches

The FV-1 is the only smd all others through hole.

Controller board uses serial link to talk to main board.

Software:

64 presets
editing using switches
MIDI

So a nice design however quite a large BOM.
Elektor will sell complete kits consisting all thing you need.
I am wondering what the price will be......

The inputs are directly connected to the fv-1. The rational is that the unit was designed by a keyboard player. He just required 'line in'. For guitars a preamp should be added.
